Deena goes completely over the edge in this one as she uses her new power Grosse Point Blank style on her obsessed ex-boyfriend.The main story revolves around the search for a killer and a magic gem. The case is solved quite quickly before the gem goes missing again and we get a flashback to 'little' Deena.
I really dig the back story of Walker teaching Calysta how to use her powers and the interaction between the two is a joy.
I'm not sure where this book is going at the moment but I'm digging it and I've three more volumes sat on top of the speaker in front of me.
